First Look @ the Class of 2030

Caleb Odle- Charlestown

The June Edition of our 6 Pack of Questions that came out yesterday officially kicked off the 2026-2027 season. Today I’m going into the first deep look into the incoming class of 2030. It looks like there could be some real potential here as a few are already nationally rated and a few that will continue moving up as they go through high school. Many of these names you’ll get to see playing varsity or jv ball with their high school teams this summer and players to remember to check out @ the Charlie Hughes event at the end of June.  Like always there’s a big hole left by the graduating seniors which included one of the more decorated careers in recent memory with Mt. Vernon’s Luke Ertel being named Mr. Basketball, winning a state title, and being named to the Iverson Classic All American game, while signing with Purdue. Good players leave and a crop of new guys come into take their place. . This is just an initial list of names in the class of 2030 to look forward to in the coming years. In the late summer/ early fall I’ll make a Super 30 list of names that I think could be contributors at the varsity level from Day 1. For now this is just a first look into the class of 2030 and names you’ll be hearing about in the coming years. Also it’s near impossible to list or know of everyone but it’s a pretty good amount. (If I don’t know the high school you’ll be attending I’ll just list the middle school.)
