With the offseason comes transfers. I’ve waited for a while because you never know who will show up (or not show up) where. It’s now the norm for there to be offseason transfers (and sometimes in-season) and especially now that the IHSAA has allowed the 1- time transfer rule. A quick Google search defines the rule as; “The updated IHSAA Rule 19 allows student- athletes transferring for the first time between IHSAA member schools to retain immediate, full varsity eligibility, provided the move occurs during their first 6 semesters of high school and is not the result of recruitment or undue influence.” A quick Instagram poll voted on by his piers selected Ryan Gold from Cathedral to Pike as the most impactful transfer. Bryce Lacross from Blackhawk to Homestead and Drew Dixon from Adams to St. Joe’s as 2nd and 3rd. Certainly Pike’s Jahari Miller transferring to a school in Dallas, TX is the state’s biggest name leaving. Throughout the offseason I’ll get this page updated as needed.
