The initial thought was to combine all the guards into one group but there’s just too many good ones that I had to spread it out into two separate categories. So this week we’re looking at the top shooting guards in the class of 2027. A look back into last year we hit the top 3 spot on with Anthony Fresh (Charlestown), Jashawn Ladd (Ben Davis), and Justin Curry (Noblesville) all making the Indiana All Star team. There’s a real shot at the top 3 once again making the Indiana All Star team (two I’m sure of and a possibility of 3). Two will also be playing D1 ball at this time next year with many others playing at some level. Even with the move of Pike’s Jahari Miller, there’s some real sleepers in here that will make some college coaches look real smart in the next few years. Let’s start up Week 3 of our Class of ’27 rankings with the combo guards.
