As the first month of the season comes to a close I’m going to take a look at the top 10 in each class as opposed to just the Top 20 overall like our weekly rankings (as of January 1, 2026). 4A is looking wide open, especially in the south where there’s a few teams that could make it to Indy. In the north it feels like Crown Point and Fishers are on a collision course but there are a few that want to pull the upset. 3A South is a gauntlet to get through with 13 of my top 15 coming from there. 2A is pretty deep all the way down in both directions but Parke Heritage remains the clear outlier as favorite for now. There’s a solid 6 in 1A that I feel like could cut down the nets @ Bankers Life but Orleans made a surprise run last year from outside the Top 10. Let’s take a look at my Top 10 for each class.
