A few months ago we had our initial look at the class of 2030 before any of June school ball just to introduce some names to watch for. Now that we’ve had a full AAU spring/ summer of seeing the class of 2030 and a month of June to see them with their school, these are the Super 36 that I came up with. The Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase gave me an even better idea of who’s who in this 2030 class. This is combination of who will immediately make an impact for their school at the varsity level and who I believe have the most potential long-term. Last year was the first year of making a Super 30 of the class of 2029 and feel like I did a pretty good job of naming the top prospects. The big names were included such as Karson Stoudemire, Will Tonagel, Micah Mohler, Corey Brown, Prentiss Gates, Max Hopkins, and Tristan Breland + more. There’s a few long term prospects that will be nationally rated when it’s all said and done. Cutting the initial list of kids from 130 (I believe that’s around the # of kids I had listed) to just 36 is tough because there’s some players with really good potential that won’t make the list. There’s also the possibility I just haven’t seen enough of you yet. It will be fun to look back in the future and see who’s game develops and how these rankings look.
