Class of 2029 Averages

Coming into the season one of the things I was looking at was how was the incoming freshman class going to measure up with the 2025 class that just graduated. The original c/0 ’25 had some big time D1 guys like Braylon Mullins, Trent Sisley, and Jalen Haralson and it was deep. There’s some players in this class that really stepped up to lead their teams this year in scoring. Some programs were going through rebuilds but a good group of freshmen help offset the losses. Down south guys like Karson Stoudemire @ New Albany and Micah Mohler from Austin had been known for a few years and were expected to be special in high school. Will Tonagel was a name up north that people knew and expected big things from him and all he did was play pg for a 1 loss Oak Hill squad. The two freshmen (Max Hopkins and Tristian Breland) @ Fishers didn’t average alot of ppg but contributed on a loaded 1 loss Tigers group. And up in the Region the best long-term prospect overall may be 6’9 Prentiss Gates who has an Isaiah Hill- type ceiling. In this write up I AM NOT RANKING this group until after I see a spring/ summer of their AAU ball, but I’m just giving out their ppg totals for the regular season (tournament not included). Let’s take a look at how the class of 2029 looked this season. (If I didn’t see you in here I tried getting everyone’s stats from their coach or MaxPreps).
